Apple has published an EU energy label for the iPad mini 8 that reveals the device has a battery capacity of 4,900 mAh, which is slightly lower than the 5,034 mAh capacity of the previous model's battery. However, Apple's website lists identical battery life estimates for both models, so it appears that the improved power efficiency of the A20 Pro chip in the new iPad mini helps to offset its slightly smaller battery
