The existing Mbed TLS maintainers are set to stop work on Mbed TLS’s TLS and X.509 libraries in April 2027. Trusted Firmware technical steering committee minutes record positive inquiries but no firm agreements as of Oct. 15th, alongside a paused bug bounty and added triage work.
